Behind the Album
Bare captures the rush of a summer crush through Mason Reed's bright, youthful pop sound. A playful, instantly memorable hook anchors a story about the moment someone catches your eye and suddenly makes it difficult to play it cool.
Blending upbeat teen-pop energy with R&B-influenced rhythms, crisp percussion, and layered sing-along vocals, Bare brings a nostalgic early-2010s pop sensibility into Mason's own musical world. Sunlit, confident, and full of anticipation, the song follows the excitement of wanting to get closer to someone who has completely caught your attention.
A special shoutout to Super AJ for helping Bare find its way into the world. Sometimes music travels farther than we ever expect, connecting people, places, and communities in ways that make creating it worthwhile. Thanks for being part of the Horizon Sound story.
